The Falcon Lake Incident is among the best Indy albums of 2010 and I want to have its babies!

Both The Weakerthans and Jim Bryson already have impressive and introspective catalogs full of metaphor and sentiment and the two acts have toured extensively together for several years, each in support of the other, so a collaboration was a no-brainer.

Star Fucking Hipsters Live!

As you may or may not know, I love the punk rock.  The screeching vocals, distorted power chords and unapologetic drum beats reverberating in a tiny club or basement; life is good.

Well, last weekend I was fortunate enough to see one of the most iconic punk figures of our generation; Stza (Scott Sturgeon) and The Star Fucking Hipsters at the Indianapolis stop in their U.S. tour promoting the new album, Never Rest in Peace (buy it right now!).
